THEME: SEIZE THE MOMENT: PREACH THE GOSPEL NOW:
2 Timothy 4:2 (KJV)
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
Our opening verse was Apostle Paul's charge to Timothy. He said, "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season..." This is God's charge to you today; preach the Word, in season and out of season. There are nations today where you can preach the Gospel openly, but some years ago, they were not open. Now, is the time to preach the Word, You have the opportunity, use it. Spread the Word everywhere, be a Soul Winner.
There are some countries or cities where Christians are not easily permitted to organize open-air gospel meetings, some other countries or cities even prohibit personal conversion; meaning, no one is allowed to convert himself or herself from the main religion to Christianity. This should be a matter of concern to you as a child of God and be praying for an opening for the Gospel in these countries or cities around the world. Jesus said, "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” (John 9:4).
The time to preach the Gospel is now! If the Spirit of God is leading you and giving you a vision to organize soul winning outreaches, do it quickly. Seize the moment! If you wait, it might be too late. Be relentless in your evangelical work. Pray for the nations of the world and see the glorious Gospel of our Lord Jesus grow mightily in your town, city or country. Hallelujah!
PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for the opportunity I have to preach the Word to those around me. I move with the speed and urgency of the Spirit, guided by your wisdom in leading many to righteousness. I receive increased grace and ability to fulfill the ministry of reconciliation to those in my world and beyond, in Jesus Name. Amen.
REFLECTION
The time to preach the Gospel is now! If the Spirit of God is leading you and giving you a vision to organize soul winning outreaches, do it quickly. Seize the moment! If you wait, it might be too late. Be relentless in your evangelical work.
