It is not only the northern part of Nigeria or the middle belt that has fertile land but almost all the states of the federation are endowed with fertile land. Recently, Igbos in the eastern region can now grow onions, cucumbers, watermelons, peanuts, etc.

Formally their ideology is that only Northerners have the type of soil where all of the above mentioned elements would do well / bear a lot of fruit unlike theirs, but today such ideology has been overcome when they have tried this word: "One try will convince you".

What I am trying to imply is that this huge crop of yams that we are stirring was harvested in locality, the land of Mbaise in Imo State, a rare and sumptuous harvest.

It was harvested a few days ago after being mistakenly dropped during the 2020 harvest time using its fresh mouth that burst. You could see how the reapers looked overwhelmed and cheerful, this is to tell us that this is a rare harvest compared to others.

You could also see the level of the dug earth before it could come out without any seed breaking or being cut by mistake with a shovel. This is a yam seed that was cultivated during the agricultural season and today this yam seed has brought many more, large and small.

Indeed all our lands, regardless of our differences are fertile in a particular way, if Mbaise of all peoples could harvest this in their land, you too can, "never say never" because with God by your side everything is possible.
