Head coach of the Black Stars, Milovan Rajevac says that his side needs a two-goal difference win if they want to secure a place in the playoffs of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Ewe Ghana

The Black Stars of Ghana drew 1-1 with Ethiopia at the Orlando Stadium in South Africa on Thursday with the draw handling the advantage to the South Africans going into the last match.

South Africa on the other hand defeated Zimbabwe 1-0 at the FNB Stadium the same day Ghana drew with Ethiopia as they now have a two-point advantage over Ghana going into the last game.

Speaking before South Africa vs Zimbabwe game, Milovan Rajevac stated that with Ghana’s draw, if South Africa gets any slim win his boys need a win of 2 goal margin to qualify.

“If South Africa wins tonight, then we have to win with a two-goal difference, very simple calculation. So we have to approach this seriously and we all have to do our best to make it happen,” he told the GFA’s in house media.

Ghana will take on South Africa at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday at 3 pm in a must-win the game.

Brebis Ghana Les Black Stars du Ghana ont fait match nul 1-1 contre l'Éthiopie au stade d'Orlando en Afrique du Sud jeudi, le match nul donnant l'avantage aux Sud-Africains avant le dernier match.

L'Afrique du Sud, quant à elle, a battu le Zimbabwe 1-0 au stade FNB le même jour où le Ghana a fait match nul contre l'Éthiopie, car ils ont désormais deux points d'avance sur le Ghana avant le dernier match.

 S'exprimant avant le match Afrique du Sud contre Zimbabwe, Milovan Rajevac a déclaré qu'avec le match nul du Ghana, si l'Afrique du Sud remporte une mince victoire, ses garçons ont besoin d'une victoire de 2 buts d'avance pour se qualifier.

« Si l'Afrique du Sud gagne ce soir, alors nous devons gagner avec une différence de deux buts, un calcul très simple. Nous devons donc aborder cela sérieusement et nous devons tous faire de notre mieux pour y arriver », a-t-il déclaré aux médias internes de la GFA.

Le Ghana affrontera l'Afrique du Sud au Cape Coast Stadium dimanche à 15 heures dans un match incontournable.
