Pepper and Sugar is a very interesting title that was well accepted by the public, but coming from Emmanuel Blessing, it is no surprise. It has been a characteristic of him to churn out brilliant movie stories with interesting titles.

He has Kukro and Fallen In His Touch to his credit.However, filming on a low budget, true justice was not done to the story. If the movie was shot on a more glamorous set with enough space for creative camera angles, it could have passed for a very great movie.

The sound and picture wasn’t the best but the producer has explained that as a result of the cinema system. The director and producer of the movie also indicated in an interview that his brand is not only concerned with pushing actors into the lime light but also to nurture crew and give them opportunities.

According to director Emma, this is the first time some of his crew are having their works premiered and he is hopeful they will learn from the feedbacks they are receiving.

Pepper and Sugar Chapter 1 was premiered at the SNAP cinema on the 27th of November to about 200 audience most of whom kept asking for the chapter 2.

The producer of the movie has expressed gratitude to MAGIC DODO, the producers of Jalousie body lotion and the audience who made it through the rains to watch the movie and promised to get back to the cinema in 2022 with a high quality full story of Pepper and Sugar.
