Can we ask ourselves why since independence the country had not been able to develop very well?

Have we asked ourselves as citizens  about this  question?

Why is it that most Ghanaians are complaining about deplorable roads,lack of portable drinking water, lack of hospital facilities, lack of proper standard of educational facilities etc and they are calling upon the heads of the government to fix the country.

How can the leaders fix the country, while many of them are not patriotic?

The founder and leader of Shiloh Light Chapel Bishop Michael Amoah Asante have join the chorus of many Ghanaians who are saying that most of the leaders in the country are not patriotic.

He wonder why upon all the natural resources the country is endowed with, yet still there is not much development in the country.

What does the leaders in the country use the revenue generated internally from the natural resources for, some will say that they  use it to manage the economy.

  

Are they  managing the economy very well??? this is the question we should ask ourselves.

Most of the leaders are very selfish, greedy, corrupt, and self centered people.

They use their positions to amass ill gotten wealth for themselves, not for the interest of the ordinary Ghanaian.

A patriotic leader serve the interest of the ordinary Ghanaian welfare and well-being.

In this 21century,we still have schools under trees, many people lack electricity in their communities,it is very sad that even in some communities both human being and animals drink water together,is this not sad and a disgrace for the country?

Bishop Michael Amoah continue to express his view that until the county will have patriotic leaders who will love and care for the citizens,there is no way the country will progress to satisfy the needs and wants of every Ghanaian.

He advised all the leaders in the country to fear God and love the country, for that is the only way they can develop the country.

Lastly he said the country is marking time, and is far from development.

He said this at his Church auditorium, during his church service last week Sunday.
